The following is from the Metacreations web site concerning what the 1.01 patch addresses: Bug Fixes: Win98 taskbar Now applications that are launched after Carrara will have a taskbar button. Crash when rendering Specific print drivers no longer cause a crash on Render. Area render tool with Light cones and Lens flares Light cones and Lens flares are now displayed in the proper locations when using the area render tool. Smp Crash in texture room Multiple processors no longer cause a crash when drawing the texture preview. Tutorial files Dragging objects from the browser to the scene no longer crashes. Vertex modeler Add point tool now updates correctly in all views. File Close closes palettes- Focus issues on dialogues have been improved so that File > Close behaves in a more conventional manner. Mac 8.1 crash when rendering in the render room fixed. Mac 8.1 add folder dialog crash fixed.
