Subject: Powerful Shaders!!

This image is a simple sphere with a single shader applied (it's a complex shader but no texture maps though) It was created with all 'out of the box' items from the shader editor. I'd like to post some of these cool shaders (at least I think there're cool) in the Carrara Free Stuff so everyone can look at how they're built. The images that Ive seen posted use pretty standard shaders but Carrara's shader power is awesome. That's what sold me on the product. My issue: I work on a Mac and know that many members are PC users. I need someone to bounce these files off of so that we can adjust them and post both Mac and PC versions. If anyone is interested let me know and we'll get to work. It'll be great to see what new effects can be made with the power of the shader editor! Mark

I use MAC OS also, I was able to open a Windose car file with no problem, I didn't have to convert anything. It was an object with no textures & was made in the Spline modler.

Thanks for your responses, and thanks Clint for testing. This shader is now available in the Carrara Free Stuff section. Carrara is truly cross platform. How cool! Mark
