Anybody knows of a tutorial on how to make clothing items look torn, like when Mike or Vicky have been thru the jungle or had that big fight with a supervillain. I guess it can be done using transparency maps but I haven't seen any freebees or examples posted. The closest was some textures for Mike's JeanZ on Daz website.

Transparency maps are the best way I have found. I was just doing a torn look on a flag this evening before I posted this. I put a black box along the edge of the object (on the texture map) apply the wind filter and save it as a transparency map...it works wonderfully.
