I'll keep this short, because I'm trying to catch up enough on my work & my packing to actually install it and play with it, but I just wanted to offer a big THANK YOU to the folks at DAZ for offering such a wonderful freebie as the Millenium Dragon. It's incredible!!! Many many (too many!) Thanks!!! Cheers!

Testing, testing ...

Video clip (MPEG format, 579kB)

This concludes this test of the Dragon Broadcasting System. In the event of an actual emergency, you would be devoured.

That's that Inspector Morris guy on PBS, right?

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Mon, 02 September 2002 at 5:04 AM

Shame, bikermouse, shame!!

It's the second Doctor, Patrick Troughton, from the Doctor Who episode "Tomb of the Cybermen".

You will now be mocked by sci-fi geeks for the remainder of your life. Have a nice day. :)

L.D., like they don't do that already... BTW I've been meaning to ask you about the jackalope. I can't seem to find anything in the biology books about it. - TJ

bikermouse ( ) posted Mon, 02 September 2002 at 5:56 AM

L.D., In mock revenge bikermouse dreams up a little trivia quiz for The Dragon. (no fair looking them up although I might have to to verify the answer by looking them up) 1) Who played Margie on "My Little Margie"? 2) What was Clarabel the Clown's Real name(on the Howdy doody show) 3) Name four of the three musketeers. 4) What did Otis on the Andy Griffith Show do for a living? 5) What is Throttle's girlfriend's name? 6) Queen to queens level three. What do you respond with? 7) How many stooges were there? 8) Who are the creatures from the id. 9) Who was the merchant of venice? 10) What is the file size of Objaction Mover?

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Mon, 02 September 2002 at 6:03 AM

Concerning the jackalope ... his name is Leon. What did you want to know about him?

Seriously, though ....

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Mon, 02 September 2002 at 6:20 AM

I can't look them up? Oh, all right. 1) Gale Storm 2) Captain Kangaroo 3) In alphabetical order: Aramas, Athos, D'artagnan, Porthos 4) Other than town drunk, I haven't a clue 5) Which Throttle? The biker mouse? Carbine. 6) Queen to King's Level One 7) Five, if you count Bruce Campbell as an honorary member 8) The psychological baddies from Forbidden Planet 9) Antonio 10) I couldn't say without looking What's my score?

bikermouse ( ) posted Mon, 02 September 2002 at 6:42 AM

without looking it up perfect. 1)sounds right. 2) Very few people know that Captain Kangaroo and Clarabel are the same guy. He also played Mr. Bluster. 3)correct. 4) No self respecting science fiction dedicated person would spend the time watching the Andy Griffith show long enough to know that. I believe he was an insurance salesman or a lawyer. 5) I think that's right. 6) as this was an incomplete question it doesn't count. I forgot to add captain on the end. 7) As the stooges are not generally recognised as science ficton actors there is no reason you should know that. there were 6 by the way. Moe Larry, Curley, Curley Joe ,the other Joe and Shimp. 8) exellent 9) I thought it was some girl or was that the barber of seville? 10) As well you shouldn't.

melanie ( ) posted Mon, 02 September 2002 at 11:24 AM

Bob Keeshan was Clarabel/Capt. Kangaroo's real name. :) There was a second-hand store here in Portland that used to have a jackalope as well as a can of jackalope milk. They somehow ended up in the hands of Doc Severnson (from Johnny Carson's Tonight Show), a Portland native, who was apprently a friend of the owner of the store and made an appearance at the store. Actually Bikermouse, that picture shows the file size of UV Mapper, not Objaction Mover. The filesize of mover101.exe is 318KB. :-)

bikermouse ( ) posted Mon, 02 September 2002 at 2:53 PM

Melanie, Doc Severenson? Next to the Bikermice and Dartanion he's one of my heros - I think it was the J.C. show that introduced me to the jackolope. L.D., check out those trivia links too. I think you'll find one of the number eights interseting. Looks like we stumbled on to something - A new Forbidden Planet? Now about that jackolope. As nice as The wonderful DAZ Dragon is, I wonder if we could get the people at DAZ to model that one? DAZ People, Thank you DAZ for the wonderful dragon and the copy of MIMIC I just bought from you. Your generosity is overwhelming. - TJ

bikermouse ( ) posted Mon, 02 September 2002 at 2:59 PM

Thanks Chrometiger, I stand corrected. But check out the links anyway. I checked them out and the all work. Especially the howdy doody and 3 stooges links. and the number eights. Whubb bbubb bbubb bubb, -TJ
