Subject: small SVCD sample wanter

Bongo ( ) posted Mon, 02 September 2002 at 12:31 PM · edited Thu, 07 November 2024 at 9:40 AM

Hi,i'm looking for a small (1-2 megs or less) svcd anim to download or view so I can judge the svcd quality. Prefer anim be Poser or 3d but anything would of help. All files I've found so far are 6meg plus and I'm still on 56k modem for awhile longer. I've looked at vcd samples and they aren't good enough quality for what I want to do. Any links/suggestions appreciated.

Tell you what; I'll give you a good cross section. I'll post up some samples at http://www.vrhome.com/mediaphiles/media on the bottom of the page, I'll make them all the same, just different playback formats, vcd, svcd, dvd etc.

RealDeal, you ARE the Real Deal. That is exactly what I've been looking for - but when I tried to play them I got "pins cannot connect due to not supporting same transport" and when I went to details, i got no further information available..

"Pins can not connect"? I've NEVER heard of that error...more details please!

I never heard of it either, on Win Media Player, you can press - details - for error explanation. and it says - there is no explanation!! I will research. Has anyone else tries to play the samples and had this problem or been successful??

Hmm. How about rt-clicking on it and "saving target as"? I didn't set them up to stream.
