Are there any tricks to import/export to Ray Dream Studio 5.02? I can bring stuff in to RDS if I convert to 'simple meshes'. Then in RDS i can delete groups and export back to wavefront format. However, if I modify the mesh in the 'mesh form modeller', I get an error(-4) when I try and export to wavefront. Any suggestions/enlightenments?

Get the patch that fixes that problem. Not sure the link will work since Yahoo has signup and all that.

Thank you, it works now, I'm very happy. I assume you meant the obj extension. I also saw a 5.02->5.04 patch for the mac there. Do you know if one was put out for windows? I just did some searching and didn't turn up anything. Thanks again!

I don't think there was one. Not too long after the patch, 5.5 was released, which does not have the problem.
