Thanks for the comments. :-) Aeryk, I will fiddle with the reflectivity on the blade. I know they aren't that mirrored, just kept forgetting to fix it with each evolution of the scene. Thanks for reminding me. Looking at the image now, I think I need to slightly smooth out the "creases" in the ground, if possible. Also, even though I think things look pretty good, the scene lacks any "warmth". I'll have to fiddle with the sun a little to see if I can warm things up slightly. Other comments? I really need help identifying little things that may make this a better image. I think it is good, but just feel it needs a little tweaking to make it great. :-) TIA, Fiontar
criticom, Thanks for the comments. Actually, birds might not be a bad idea. I try to take a little time away from the image, then come back to it and see if I see something I missed before. I think, because of the "telephoto" effect of the lens, adding a couple of objects, plants, animals, etc... to give a reference for the scale at certain distances from the camera might be a good idea. Not to much, I don't want it to get cluttered, but I see a couple spots that may benefit from that. :-) I do plan on more images with Gwen. I have three ideas for settings/ action to work on over the next month or so. Everything is a learning process so far, hopefully after another couple of complex images, it won't take me weeks to finish just one. :-) Thanks again, Fiontar
It is very very nice. Excellent work. It looks like the material on the rocks behind Gwen are all set to the same scale. You might want to vary the scale a bit. I'd also like to see what the Katana would look like if you rotated it clockwise a few degrees. It might give it a bit more natural look. Again, excellent work.
