What in the __ --@@ ## am I suppose to do with it? It took me over two hours to load on two computers, the one not on line took forever to get the code etc. On line one was slower to program, because this is a crappy computer, but it almost registers and gets that code all by it's self.(Fast too) I have opened it up and closed it 5 times. Think I'll go make a render in 4. :O) This is not going to be easy for a Grandmother like me. I just have some reading and learning to do tomarrow.

Love is Grandchildren.

Just don't stay up all night reading..Uh, Turtle...Um, Leah...Yeah you...turn the reading light off...! ;-)

Leah, they did not program in estrogen dysphasia-- and I'm in the very middle of that! I know my story is gonna be the same as soon as it arrives, only ordered today. I took months to install Vue only to have it produce a random bug that wouldn't let me finish installing it. AAAaaaeoiuoiugggggh!! Awful thing, is I still want it like crazy. Even though I know I'll end up doing a render in 4 to calm down too. It'll get better, it'll get better, it'll get better. Emily

LOL.....I'm glad now that I waited. I figure in the next couple of weeks everyone will have the answers to all the questions that pop up.

I heard a rumor that you don't have to go through this registration crap for 15 days and can still use it. Is this true? If so, whenever I get mine I might wait for all the chaos to subside before doing this code trading between my computer(s) and CL.

Yeah, I'm also glad mine will arrive later. On the one hand, must be nice having money come in, on the other, CL has got to be a madhouse right now. They have no real way of knowig if this reg thingey is working properly until it starts then everybody finds out. No matter how many tests you do. . nothing like the crunch test. Emily

The program claims to have a 7 day grace period. I registered mine right away, just in case. Just ask casamerica about how well Poser 5 registration goes. He can tell you all about how easy it is to register!

Gals, guys - you've no right to complain. Some of us can't even buy the damn thing, because our stone-age MetaCreations serials are refused by the ordering site. I don't need a valium, but CL's web techies are going to need bodyguards soon ;o)

whbos ( ) posted Tue, 10 September 2002 at 11:26 AM

I registered both my MetaCreations Poser 3 and 4 with Curious Labs. I know the registration was down for quite a while, but you still should be able to register it if you haven't yet. I never had a problem with my original MC serial number.

Worth a try, whbos - but I can't seem to find the registration page either. Maybe I DO need a valium ;o)
