Subject: Stupid Installation Problems- please help

Has anyone had this happen to them? I have tried to install Vue 4.whatever to my new computer running OS XP Home ed, and it refuses at the end of the installation because I have insufficient administrative authority to do this. I'm listed as system administrator-- I went back and used my full name in case that caused the problem. No good. It won't install. Emily

Yes, I had the same problem. There is a bug in the installer. What you need to do is install it again and pick custom. When you get the choices of what to install, uncheck everything. It should then finish the install correctly, and providing the path information is the same everything will be installed.

Thank you, I tried to post that I had gone to the Eon site and found all this out but Rosity crashed just as I hit submit. Besides you explained it in much more detail and I really understand what to do now. Emily
