I'm a basically lazy person. Sooooo, I try to make my shaders do all of the work for me. The above image was created in about 10 minutes using a complex shader. It consists of four spheres aligned with each other and increasing in size by 2% from the center outward. The spheres took 60 seconds. The other nine minutes was adjusting the shader on each sphere. You can download this shader in the the Carrara Free Stuff section. IMPORTANT: You have to download the FREE and totally cool 'Shader Pack 1' extension available at http://digitalcarversguild.com (Thanks Eric!) in order for the shader to work correctly. The shader that I uploaded is fully adjustable: you can change window size, light color, construction panel size, completion of the construction, super structer size, etc., etc., etc. And it's all done with procedural shaders so none of that nasty pixelation in a finished render. Have a blast! Mark

It's a Borg Sphere. They have advanced their technology. "You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile." GREAT work, and thanks very much.
