I followed one of Varian's tutorials and made the attached picture. I modeled the pitcher and the water and the bowl and the water in Amapi. At first I couldn't import the objects after saving them as obj files because of the water. I always seemed to have problems whenever I used the cut tool in Amapi, so I wasn't surprised. On a lark, I decided to go back and delete the surface of the water. I had used the close open object option from the advanced tool menu. I resurfaced the surface by hand and the import worked. You can use Vue tools such as boolean, color mix and bumps instead. I'm working with pouring water att the moment, and I don't look to bad :)
