Please everyone interested in a decent plugin for Max5 email CuriousLabs and tell them to add as many of the new features as is humanly (programmably) possible. They told me many of the features will NOT be transferable. Please get these guys to put some work in getting the next plugin right. Tell them 160,000 and growing users are there on Max and it would make business sense to get this one right!!!!

I'm with you. What would be awesome is if the Poser bones translated into Max bones finally, or even better: Biped. I hope the clothes & hair are translated too.

Yep, good idea. They can work on the Max5 plugin after the Cinema 4D R8 plugin is finished. ;D

considering the work yet to be done on p5 itself does anyone believe we will see any new hosting plugins anytime soon?? :-/

I agree with Wolf, lets get Poser 5 fixed first, specially the dynamic hair.

I'd love to see all of Poser's new features translated, but it's probably asking too much. Poser has now added features that don't exist in the standard Max package. Hair, for instance. Since Max doesn't have built-in Hair, whose hair plugin do you write the translator to match?

It would be nice if a 3rd party plu-in company made a licensing agreement with CL to build a real Poser-->MAX plugin... ... Any developers out there?

A poser to Max "plugin" exists. It is called Maximum Pose, and it rocks. The only problem is that there is no curerent version for P5 to Max. If you want it done, email David John Fielder (Konan at this forum) and tell him. If there is enough demand, he may develope it. I've included the link to his website - Innuendo Software.
