Amapi is a grate modeler that is fast and I would defiantly take a look at it since you already have a license to use it. It is not very easy to learn but there is some good tutorials on the web if you can find them. I have played with it but I am still yet to master it. It is a little buggy though but since it's free we can't complain much. It dose handle stuff that Carrara has a hard time modeling, like beveled edges. But like I said before, it is not very easy to master but it is very powerful once you know how do use it.

Hello all. I finally got my copy of Carrara Studio 2 yesterday and found another modeler, Amapi 5.14, on the second disc. Does Eovia think their own Carrara modeler is no good and so included Amapi for use as the modeler? I haven't installed Amapi yet and Carrara seems fine by itself. What can Amapi do that Carrara can't? Lammoth
