I remember seeing somewhere a 3DS or DXF model of a prize ribbon like they award at high school trackmeets and 4H clubs etc. You know, the blue ribbon for 1st etc. Does anyone know where I can find this model? I need it desperately. Thankyou.

have you tried 3D cafe, or the props guild or Avalon? One of them should have it. If not, it shouldn't be that hard to make.

Always try to make your own models first and foremost, you will have more pride in your work, and you will learn something new

Bonestructure; thanks, forgot about Avalon as it has been a long time since I went looking for a model. Agamemnon : I am not familiar with who you are as I don't recall you from seeing your posts so I presume you are a newer member or just don't post a lot here. I want you to remember your advice in case you are ever tempted to download a model from the Free Stuff pages. And never presume to tell anyone how much pride they will have in accomplishing something unless you know them much better than you know me. You have posted your little comment above like I just suddenly discovered the programs of Bryce and Poser etc. and sound like a real pro giving advice to a newbie. You should first find out about a person and the work they do and the quality of that work and how long they have been doing it before giving advice like you did. This post is not to start an arguement but to point out that if a model exists of what a person needs then they have the option of using it. If they didn't use it then there are a lot of people whose real talent is in making models that a lot of us are not capable of who would have no audience for thier work or even a reason to continue with thier work as no one would require it. If I can't find one then of course I will make one as that is my other option. I am sorry but I am a little put out by the tone of your comment. If it was not intended then I apologise now.

I never post anything to try to hurt anyones feelings, its just an opinion of one person. FYI, I have used bryce for many years and still consider myself an amature 3D Graphic artist, and I have never visited the free objects section here, but did use models in my earlier work as a way to learn.
