I'm new to this Python stuff.... I've heard it called Poser Python--is it different than regular Python??? can a non geek do this stuff? Do I need a degree in Python for Dummies? What can it do for me ? ....Poser 5 is already squeezing the life out of me, will this be an added level of frustration ?

Python is a the fastest growing script language. Poser Python is normal Python plus some exta Poser specific libraries. Step 1 would be to learn Python, but since Python is made for quick scripting, it is easier to learn than other languages. Start with the books from O'Reilly, especially 'Learning Python'

First, yes, Monty!! The scripting language Python was named after Monty Python (etc). Second, I agree with smhaus. O'Reilly publishes great computer books and that one would be an excellent place to start. (Note to self: buy O'Reilly's 'Learning Python' ;) Third, good luck!!! Kuroyume
