Hi Most proly know this or have thought of it. But for thows new to prociedual textureing this will help you. As we all know you can not directly export proc textures from any app to another, they all handel them diferently. well the work around for this to save your kool looking texture is simple to do in any progie. Bryce Vue TrueSpace Max Maya (Poser 5) xcet xcet. take you wild new texture you want to use in another app, load it on a flat surfuce, a plain a cube what ever. set you camera for a straight on shot flat lighting IE no shadows or angles so light is right behind the camera. Render your texture full screen or to file in the rez you want. save and vala you have the texture ready to map in normal ways to use in any app you import to. Hope this helps the newbies to proc textures out or any that just bypassed proc textures as being limited to the app there created in. Laters Vel

You might have even more luck by just setting it up on the "Background" and rendering to whatever size you want the texture.

some programs dont permit puting a proc texture on as a bacground pic with out first aplieing it to something. but great idea if you can do it. :) Laters Vel

P5 has a "Background" object and you can build any procedural texture you want onto it.
