Hello, 3D Texture Workshop Vol. 1: The Making of Freaky Frank has anyone of You bought this book? Is it good? Is it usefull (I am working with Poser) ? Is it a 'real' book or just a pdf-file? Thanks T:-)M

Yep, it's a "real" book, it includes a cd, too, and it's great. Buy it!:)

This is a superb book. Even if you are experienced in making textures you will still learn things from it. I know it opened my eyes to other ways of creating texture/bump maps. Please note that it isn't just for Poser, the examples all work within other 3D apps as well. My advice would be, buy it.

Well I just ordered it, though the update is missing. Hope Daz still has it. This author has a habit of starting something that sounds great but then lets people down, so I'm hoping that isn't the case here. New people won't remember his dot com that was going to give a book and models if you subscribed but he closed it down for whatever reason and a ton of people were really ticked. The book was used as the basis for creating the Mil Dragon textures.
