The other day I applied a MAT pose file to a figure in P5. The bump map was a jpeg since I have Pro Pack and I saw that it was attached to the Gradient Bump node. I wanted to test the differences between applying a jpeg bump map to the Gradient Bump node versus the Bump Map node. After moving the jpeg to the Bump Map node, I used Lourdes free python script to create a MAT pose file. When I opened the pz2 file in WordPad, I found that the bump map showed up as NO_MAP in the MAT pose file. I haven't tested it yet, but I'm assuming that if you want to have the bump map image in the Bump Map node, then you have to save the file to the Material library instead of as a MAT pose file. For compatibility with P4/PP, it would seem logicial that the Gradient Bump node will need to be used when creating MAT pose files, even if the bump map is a jpeg. If someone else would check this out to make sure I'm not doing something wrong, it would be appreciated. -darlisa
