Has anyone else experienced this problem:
Up until a few days ago Poser was running fine. Now, however, when I start it up it sits on the grey startup screen (all grey, none of the poser info on it) for about 10 seconds and then continues as normal. I have no idea what is causing this delay and it's kind of annoying.
Any ideas anyone? From reading in this forum I think it might be something with the main RSR, but I have no idea what. I would really appreciate any help.
FYI I am running under 2000 as administrator with 768Mb RAM.

You could always try a reinstall. If you uninstall from control panel it should leave all your library and geometry folders intact.

I have herd people suggest rite protecting the POSER.RSR after setting the interface the way you want, backing up the RSR is another option.

Poser may be searching for something that isn't available. Have you set a preferred state? And if so, might it be looking for textures etc. which aren't there any more? Just another thing to try...
