Subject: how would one fix the 2 tone skin texture in a render

Working with P5, I am trying to figure out how to fix the 2 tones around the neck in a render. If you render something out, (don't know if its just me) but I notice a very noticable tone charge at the beginning of the neck, then the main head is back to its original color? Why is this, and have anyone fixed or come up with a fix for this? Cedric

I posted on this yesterday and got flamed for it. I did figure out that if you select the one single texture that is supplied for Judy, there's no neck line problem. If you use the random feature in the room, you get a neck problem that I described in the thread above. The random is more of a node randomization than it is a texture randomization from what I can see. So far, I have not figured out the node that is causing the shading difference in the neck that I pointed to in item 2 and 3. If I do, I'll post a tut. (provided I don't get flamed again). I think in time there will be other textures offered by the elite in the market place or the free stuff area that will fix this.

Also, if you use the one single texture that is provided, DON"T go back to the face room OR the texture room or you will be back to square one with the neck thingie even if you don't select to have your changes applied.

thanks for the info. I have alot of respect for CL, but this is crazy. How on earth did they release this product with SO many bugs. I mean, I can understand minor or some under the hood bugs, but these "right at you bugs" are crazy. I mean, I know they had to notice this neck problem during beta. This would be like the makers or "EverQuest" releasing their game with a bug, that prevents you to log online. This are not bugs, these are UP Front errors that should have been fixed day 1. Man, now again, I have to delay my project. :( Cedric

This is not a bug, you applied the texture from the face room instead of just the shape. If you want to use the texture instead of the one on the figure adjust the color to match in the FR.
