Hey all... I've been away for awhile... moved into a new house and my computer got fried by an electrical storm... been slowly getting things back up and running on my new system and am so pleased at how much faster it is. Anyway... I thought I would let you all know I finally got my Vue back up and running and created a new image. I hope you all like it. Let me know what you think.

Hi, nice to see you here :=), bad news for your fried computer :=( . I like your picture : I only suggest to add a very small amount of light to see better the objects But this is a matter of personal feeling, a subjective opinion. Yves

So did you have a surge protector on the old computer? I've had three homes of mine hit by lightening, but that was a long time ago. Charles

I had the computer completely surge protected... the problem was the phone line wasn't... it came up thru the telephone line, blew out my modem, motherboard, and power supply in one fatal swoop. Now I gotta find a phone line surge protector! :) The good thing to come out of it was that the new system is 10x faster then the old system. A rendering that would have taken 2 days before (eg: Shiny Red Button) only took about 45 minutes now! Wanna talk about FAST! 1.3gig processor sure makes a difference!

Welcome back. My CPU fried about 2 weeks ago after a failed cpu fan. I know what it is like :) At least I didn't lose any data. Nice image by the way !
