Subject: Help Me See High Res Eyes

Has anyone been able to utilize high res eyes on vicki in Poser 5? If so how? I'm craving a purple stare to go with those sexy little elve ears.

If you mean the PoserStyle HR eyes you have to hide the originals (select each eye from the parts list under the work window, ctrl-i to bring up the properties box, uncheck visible for P4), then load and conform the eyes.

Thank you for responding. The eyes are curios very high res eyes. I've tried what you suggest. All I'm left with after rendering are eye sockets.

In that case they may just be textures for the original eyes - if they are replacements like the PS HReyes they will have an entry in the Figures (or possibly Props) library. It may be, assuming there is a MAT file (in Pose, Camera or Light library), that there is some compatibilty problem. If there isn't a MAT file you may have to apply the texture by hand, for which you will need the Material room - unfortunately any instructions for Poser4 are unlikely to translate simply to P5 by what I have read. Try posting again, specifying that it's Curio's eyes you are using, or try sending a query direct to Curio.

Thanks. I've emailed Pete at Curio and hope to figure this out. Tomorrow will be interesting for Poser 5 users to see which of the many bugs/issues will be adressed in there 1st patch. Thanks again for responding.

You're welcome, and good luck with the patch.
