Thought this up when I should have been working.

Took the Photo this morning

Don is far more photogenic than me

rest is the result of letting Photoshop near a deranged mind

Dotty Doc Cooper (AKA Narsil)

If you're reading this Kupa (and you should be sleeping) thanks for all your hard work on this little gem Poser 5

Heya, neato. This is the closest thing I have read/seen to the LOST IN SPACE connection I made right off. I mean Don and Judy, Will and Penny? Alien influences? Oh, and where oh were is that natsy Mr. Smith (perhaps tinkering around someone in the P5 interfact, no doubt) And what of MA and PA Robinson? Did the youngester rebel, was there mutiny? Are the parents now stranded on some tiny planet in some far off Gallaxy? And what of the Robot - did he get traded in for Goldie? Inquiring minds want to know. :O)

interfact? or interface? Be gad! Mr. Smith has struck again.

Hi there

Just back from a pretty serious type meeting..

A bit of background - I've been listening to HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxy during Patch Watch.

Also caught Forbidden Planet on the SciFi channel yesterday afternoon.

Photo was taken on the Ridgeway with a Nikon CoolPix 880
on my morning walk.

I'm sure we will all get used to Judy and the face room.
Rather than get mixed up with "Kupa you promised" brigade (I see there is an embryonic "look there's 81 bug fixes - I told you it wasn't us" brigade")I would sooner let him get on with his job and enjoy doing discovering what Poser 5 is capable of.

Poor Kupa - even when he is doing the right thing he is still shouted at. I bet he feels like No 6 (I've been watching "The Prisoner" with Patrick Macgoohan)

Back to silliness.

So Shadownet you think a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away .. err thats been done hasn't it?

I leave it to my fellow Poserites to fill in the gaps in Lost in Poser - I wonder what the correct term is for a collection of Poser Users actually is?

you know like a Herd of cows (get back there Judy) or flock of sheep (are you there Saxon?)

I would attempt to suggest a "confusion" of poser users.

Back on the system for the rest of the day now

Don't know about a long long time ago, or Kupa getting shouted at. Not wanting to do any of that. Just thought the names Don, Judy, Will, and Penny had a familiar sound. Reminded me of the characters from Lost in Space, and I thought maybe the figures were name in honor. Was not meant to imply that Poser was a Lost in Space experience, or anything like that. So if it came out sounding like a bash, it was not meant to be one. I grew up watching Lost in Space, so I made a connection to the names. The rest of the remark was just my being silly, trying to come up a witty come back for your neat picture.

You've been watching "The Prisoner" with Patrick Macgoohan? Did he have anything interesting to add?

narsil ( ) posted Tue, 01 October 2002 at 1:07 PM

Hey ShadowNet Didn't mean for you to take it personally! I was just generally remarking on the general air of criticism that there seems to be about CL and their efforts- I had been in a meeting in the morning with some "smart people that were doing exactly that- and I feel for Kupa. ( the long long time ago stuff is the start of "star Wars.") Your comments are very appreciated.Really didn't mean to flame you at all. Paul RHaseltine Sorry - slip of the keyboard I wish Patrick Macgoohan WOULD watch the Prisoner with me - Perhaps he could explain what it was REALLY about.

Paul, not a prob. My feeling were not hurt. Been a lot of bashing, and I did not want my comment to be taken as such. Your reply, my reply, this reply, all fallout, no doubt, a result of that sort of thing. Cheers,

Hey Rob I know- it was with some trepidation that I posted the above picture, mainly for fear of a right royal thumping. Its the time we live in. I wish that there would be a general lightening up of the atmosphere. All this talk of EULA's and stuff. Very heavy Sorry not to get back before - had a long phone call that demanded some thought.
