I finally managed to download the update patch after many attempts. like everbody else I had several goes and got so far,and then whole thing stopped. What I did was download the two patches separately. The application first then the figure patch.I live in Australia and have a broadband cable. The first patch 11.75 mb running at around 376 kb/secs took about 32 seconds and the 36.4 mb figure update about 1 Minute 33 seconds running at 400 kb.I hope this might help. Cheers arrow1

is there another way to get the patch, because there is no way my old box is going to download that size file,i'm on dail up.

I don't know! I have been trying all day myself in between my internet provider going down and also my telephone service, for about two hours (twice)I finally managed to download both patches. I think the problem is with too many people trying to download at the same time.I don't know how many copies of Poser 5 were sold,but there seems to be a lot. The reason I switched to broadband was the slowness of dial up.Sorry I am not much help.Cheers arrow1.
