Hello all... Was goofing around two days ago with this freeware program that I found a link for at Renderosity's modeling forum. My first attempt looks abstract and severely amatuerish simply because it is. But as far as getting more modeling power than mere booleans can provide, this program fills in the gap. Anim8or more or less is a wireframe modeler (and a pretty good/easy to use one at that.) And I've picked up a bit on how to better use it since the first attempt (more playing with it and reading the stuff on it's webpage.) Anyhow, I posted the result of my second try at using this Anim8or with Bryce in the gallery (Patrol Boat.) Let me know what you think.

Yeah Anim8tor is a pretty good program that's free. The guy who programmed it use to work on 3DSMax I believe. Have you tried boning a model yet?

You can 'bone' models? ;)

LOL... Uh no, maybe when I get some $... Most models say my wallet's to skinny (like I've even had a chance with Sophia to begin with.) Oh-- you mean graphics models... No character stuff yet. I've still gotta get my Poser skills together and get another computer with some actual room on the hard drive.

Yeah I realised what I posted after I hit the send. LOL You can put bones in any model not just characters. I tried it with a water plane (this is before I got Bryce, etc) and used bones to makes waves for an animation. things like that.
