Ok I'm a relatively ignorant newbie when it comes to Poser, so please forgive any glaring stupidities ;) I normally just use Poser to create folk, then put them in Bryce. I bought the Legionaire outfit for Michael (and Michael to), really great item. However I have a slight problem, the shoulder pieces of the armour often end up not fitting very well, digging into the model. if I turn CONFROM TO off, obviously it resets the whole armour, but I cannot manipulate the metal straps individually to fix their positions bit by bit because they are linked to the main chracter, and it ends up moving his limbs, if see what I mean? Probably simple and obvious answer? *sigh* Also when I was installing the Fantasy Tunic, it mentioned changing jpegs to BUM (?) texture files, em how do you do that? Thanks for any help folks :)

I'm assuming P4. ProPack and P5 don't need the conversion. To convert the .jpgs to .bum files, just go to Render: Materials and click on the Bump Map area. Select the .jpg file and Poser will say, "You can't use that unless it is a .bum file. Should I convert it?" Hit Okay, and it will convert the file for you, eating up tons of hard drive space. (.bum files are huge.) If you have MAT files for the armor, do NOT use them until you've done the .bum conversion. If your lucky, Poser will hang for a long time after whining about not finding the file, but eventually start back up. If you have my luck, Poser will die a long, hideous death and you'll have to forceably close Poser. As for the armor, I don't have it myself, so I don't know for sure what the issue is. I do know that shoulders can be annoying for conforming properly. I'd suggest contacting the maker of the armor to see if there is a known issue, or if there is something missing to what you're doing. Cheers!
