I got this bad boy last week, knowing there was no way I was going to be able to use it much on my machine and knowing that the textures would NEVER load on it as is, but hey, it was on sale. I'm using an original iMac G3, 266MHz, 160 MB RAM, 4GB hard drive. Virtual memory cranked up to 400MB. So after reducing the resolution on all 70 textures by 50%, I loaded it up, and after about 5 minutes I get to see the mesh. I used the green MAT pose to load the textures, another 6 minutes. I selected a pose and turned up the default lights a little and hit render. Ten minutes later I got this. I'm gonna have a lot of fun when I get my new machine.

Looks real good. BTW, does anyone else's MAT poses not work?

The texture looks as good at that resolution as it does full size. I've noticed that the newer stuff coming out of DAZ is fantastic but need a lot of ram, the Hydra is another one with big res maps. What Mac are you going for next? Get at least a Gig of Ram , you can always use that extra memory :-)

Sweet. Top of the line, this will really make poser fly :-)

Woo! Nice! I didn't even try the dragon on my old iMac-- but then, I'm terrified to crank the virtual memory past 256. Old-fashioned, I guess. Oh, and BTW, Wynter, yes. My MAT poses don't work either.
