Subject: P4Propack Problem

Well, I have had enough troubles in P5 to finally get around to using my version of propack ordered right before P5 was announced... I've installed the memory patch, etc, and on W2000, with a Pentium 4 - 1400 Mhz, 1 GB of memory and 250 GB of disk, I have had a lot of problems...

Specifically, the program on a regular basis just goes off into never-never land. Mostly this happens during renders - of any complexity. It also happens when just sitting in the user interface. Killing poser is the only way out, loosing everything done since the last save (ooops I haven't saved for several hours here :) )

Using the W2K tools, you can see Poser off with 99% of the CPU and grabbing memory like crazy...

Any ideas? Anyone else have this? This happened onced or twice pre-ProPack, and 2-3 times a day in ProPack.

/Lou

I wish I could offer more help but this is all I can think of right now: Do you have all the proper patches for the Pro Pack? I think there are three of them and they're available at curiouslabs.com. I'm not sure if you have to install them all or just the third one.
