Okay, here's the situation... You've downloaded new models, props, clothing, whatever... and it shows up perfectly in your library to the right. You load it into the scene... nothing. It still registers underneath the scene box, figure 1, body parts, even color in the rendering material.... but the object isn't in the scene. A couple of these I've been able to fix by playing with mover... but some of them dont even have anything in the geometries folder. When I hit render... nothing. Now, if I were to add a working object along with the problem object... the working object is flawless... its just these certain files that aren't working. After staying up allnight mindlessly downloading interesting files... I pray it isn't my own fault, BUT... if it is, I'd love to know. So, if there's anyone out there that could help me... hell... I'd be so grateful... I'll send you a dollar or something... whatever it takes. Thank you. Later. Cylent

Check the cr2 to see where the .obj is supposed to be. I'ts most likely the cause that the .obj isn't where Poser expects it to be, thus making an invisible figure. Heh and you can send me the dollar now ;o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

I've run into this problem too, usually with figures i've tried to tweek and re-save. I'd be interested in hearing another solution besides CR2 problems because my OBJ paths are all correct.

You might try deleting the .rsr file that is with the .obj geometry file. Sometimes they get corrupted and you get EXACTLY this symptom. By deleting it, you will force Poser to make a new one. If deleting it scares you too much, just rename it with a new extension (not .rsr or .obj obviously) and see if Poser can load the object.

More than likely the camera settings you are using are not fixed on the object. I have run into this several times over the years. Move your camera around including moving it way back in the scene. Also change its position to see if you cant find the object. Ron

Yea, I had the same problem ronmolina is talking about. Took me a few minutes to figure it out. For some reason that figure was being loaded off-camera.

Tyger, This problem could also occur if you have changed any of the OBJ group names and they no longer match what the CR2 s expecting. Funny how poser will nag you repeatedly about the same texture but never once mention a bad OBJ reference.
