Subject: Dreamer Wings Expansion Pack

Hello! I don't really post here much but I thought I'd try it. I've just finished an expansion pack for my Dreamer Wings which will be going up at DAZ3d. There have been SO many very cool renders with my wings that I wanted to make them better ;) The expansion pack has new textures done from scratch that are VERY highly detailed; and all the textures (7 of them, including 2 versions of the traditional angelic look) should look a lot better up close than the old ones do. Textures are harder for me than modeling but I like to think I've learned a lot lol. There are 8 new MAT files, with names like Wings of Stone, Wings of Steel, Wings of Truth, Wings of Autumn, Wings of Sadness, and so on (all of these are using the new textures). I made 3 new transparency maps and 2 new reflection maps to really give the wings a totally unique look depending on which MAT you use (I was especially proud of the Wings of Sadness texture/MAT). Also there are 12 new poses which tackle such issues as making the wings look really regal or angelic, or threatening- and especially 2 or 3 which make the wings fold nicely at the sides ;) There are 2 new CR2 files so that you can easily import the wings ready to be parented to Victoria/Stephanie, or the second pair which is designed to be parented to Michael. Previous purchase of the Dreamer Wings is required, so obviously the expansion pack will cost substantially less as well. I will post some pictures probably later today. Thanks for reading! Brian

As you can see the new angelic texture is much more detailed... also if you look close you can see that all the inner feathers as well as the outer have been transmapped so everything is more fluffy and realistic. The low saturation of the texture makes it very easy to choose your own colors; although this is only one of 8 MAT files that are included =)

heya~ :) just wanted to tell you that these new textures for the wings are an excellent improvement... it seems to me that they now look more full, or filled out, and thicker... they have a richer tactile essence to them without losing their delicacy... ~K.

Here is one of the 12 completely new poses. I worked very hard on each pose, so they produce some pretty neat effects, like the folded at rest sort of look you have here. As you can see the Wings of Steel MAT is applied in this pic.
