Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 27 9:18 am)
I think , if I understand you correctly, that you don,t need to export it, just set the face the way you want it ,using morph targets and scaling, select the head and spawn a morph target. It should include all the changes that were done to the head into a new morph target. Also as a note if you leave the original morphs set and apply your new morph it will add to the others for some very interesting results so if you like the way the morph looks take the original morphs and scaling back to default and use your new morph. I hope this helps feel free to E-mail me if you need anymore help.

Hello; How can I take all the dial settings I've used for a face in Poser and export them into something I can use to make more morphs from? Example: The 'ethnic characters' in Poser 4 are all simply facial dials applied to the base figure. They're essentially a whole stack of morph targets all tweaked to a desired setting. I want to take one of them and combine all those settings into one morph target or 'base shape' for that figure that I can use to create more morphs with. I find that they stay in place if I don't select 'as morph target' on export. But that if I then reload the resulting obj file as a morph target to the head and set it to 1.0 the neck stretches up and away. If I export an obj from the face of one of these characters and do choose 'as morph target' the resulting obj file is just the base head and not that character's version.
Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.
