Subject: *.dyn files ???

poser 5 creates files that end with dyn,think it has to do when making things in the clothroom. are they usefull for anything or can it be deleted??

Yep, they are the results of Clothifying. Lemme check ... Since it's my problematic bed, Poser takes a lot of time to open it, but I'd say you shouldn't delete the file unless you want to run through the clothifying operation again.

Hi Guys, When you calculate cloth OR hair it will create a temp file holding the information for the movement of the hair or cloth. When you SAVE the Poser .pz3 file it turns the temp file into a .dyn file. Every piece of cloth or hair that needs to be calculated gets a .dyn file. So... If you have 3 cloth simulators you will have 3 .dyn files. If you move the .pz3 file to another location you should move the .dyn files with it so you don't have to recalculate again the next time you open the file. Cheers, Joe
