Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 6:06 am)
Just curious why everyone is so worried about Victoria looking "older." There seems to be an ongoing theme here about that. There are people in this world of all ages, why not in the Poser universe? I've heard several people comment that Vickie looks "40," and several other people have responded who sounded offended because they are over 40 themselves. There's still the standard Posette for younger characters. She hasn't gone away. I think a better word than "old" or "older" might be "mature." Life does go on after 18. I just don't see there's an issue here. I think both of the above images look good. The Anne texture is a little more realistic because of more contour. Let's accept Vickie, whether she looks "older" or not. I'm hoping there will be a mature man to go with her soon. Melanie
melanie, i have special work to do, a music video with a 21 year old character called annie. it's an expensive project and i am looking forward to use vicky, because she's much more felixble with movements and face expressions. But i have to make her look like our project demands, thats why i complain about her age ;-) -Ede
I created a morph to round out her chin and make it smaller. It does makes her jaw and head look rounder. I'll send it directly to you after you send me your email address to try out and later I'll post it in the free stuff when I make other morphs. The other thing that can contribute to Vicki looking older is her deep set lower lid area. This is going to be a big problem to solve using magnets because of the number of structures present that have to be selectively unaffected. I've made several attempts to make it less deep set, but so far no luck in producing a cosmetically acceptable result. If you are good at making morphs with rhino, I suggest you try making the angle that the lower lid forms with the upper cheek less acute. I'll keep trying as well, but I can make no guarantees of success.
