Hello: I made a test render of the Refinery . I still need to tweak the lights and the clouds (Like Litst suggested), but right now the clouds are rendering funny. It's much more noticable in a big animation but the clouds are kind of flickering, ( you can notice it more in the cloud in the left). Is it a render bug or do clouds render this way...? Any work arounds that somebody knows? or should I just erase them? thanks

It looks like a bug :( You could try with 4D clouds, they've been more stable with me than regular clouds primitives . Nice anim, BTW :) litst

Hello litst: Isn't it a little confusing how many pressets/objects we have for clouds and fogs...? When to use each one..? We have 4d Clouds, cloud primitives. and Scene effects with clouds And in the fog department we have Distance fog, cloudy fogs and fog primitives...? Which one is best : )

Well, it depends on how you want to use the fog or clouds ... each one has its pros and cons . For yous scene, i think you'll get the best results with 4D clouds with of course some clouds in the sky . litst
