Subject: Help with mover 101

Here's the deal, I bought a character that came with a "carrier?" file with morphs to change the standard Vicky to the new character. I've tried following the instructions in the readme, & the mover 101 tutorial but I can't get it to work. As far as I can see I need to; 1. Load a copy of the original .cr2 for Vicky 2. Load a copy of the original .obj for Vicky 3. Load the carrier file with the new morphs in. 4. Transfer the morphs to the .cr2 then save the .cr2 & somehow modify the .obj. Doesn't work, when I copy the modified files into the poser runtime, I get the shrugging dude in the character library. If I try to load the figure the mouse pointr accquires the hourglass indicating poser is working but the document window stays blank. I'm obviously doing something wrong here, can anyone point me at a tutorial, or explain what I really need to do. I'm tranferring the morphs by clicking on the carrier file & then right clicking on the blue arrow where the morphs appear to be located, & selecting copy. I've checked ronknights site but I can't see a tutorial for mover.

heyas; if it's a cr2 with donor morphs, you want to use morph manager, not mover. load the donor and the original victoria cr2's into morph manager, open the bits on the donor and select copy morphs. save the victoria with the new morphs injected and you're good to go. you shouldn't need to change the base obj. mover is used with pcf encoded files.

heyas; okay, that makes more sense. just throw the morphs over, save the cr2, and you're done. don't muck about with the obj stuff. :)
