She may need to get XP or ME if she wants to stay competitive. The new paradigm for 3D apps is that if a Mac version isn't released first (or at the same time as the Windows version), it is indefinitely delayed (as in UVMapper Pro and many others).

speaking for myself, I would just as soon have a new update or patch for Pro Pack as to switch to P5. I know it sounds funny but, after all the bitching and complaing about the problems with P5 from the PC platform. no thanks. CL should just finish the job they started (especially for those us on the Mac platform, since we have to wait ) and make it stable and work like it should before they jump on the bandwagon of new and improved. 'nuff said
