Hi everyone, I have just purchased Vue 4 .Having downloaded some free files ,I was wondering what folders I put them in. I am used to Poser but these are new to me. For Instance I have a file which contains a Vob ,some jpgs and Microsoft acc. These are all in the same download. Also there are prv files and Vue files and the material files. I can't seem to see anything in book that is specific to these files and what folders they go into.Is there a tutorial available with a guide to what goes where written down.Hope someone can help? arrow1

It actually doesn't matter where you put them. You could put them in a folder called downloads, as long as you remember where you put them so you can browes to the folder from inside vue. You want to read the pages from 49 to 51 in your book. the very last spot on page 51 is what you need to know about adding extra stuff. It's not poser it don't matter where you put stuff which I like cause I have 22 hard drives here so no use sticking it all in one spot on one drive. As you get used to how the program works you may want to put things in more proper folders but it's not nessesary. What you need to keep in mind is remembering what you downloaded, You have to import different things into different spots inside the program. ie: you have to import a mesh in the add object section and in the atmosphere section to load a sky. *.vob are meshes *.atm are atmosphere ( skies) *.flt are filters *.fnc are functions *.mat are materials *.veg are plants *.vue are complete scenes Easy?
