That just Sucks! I saw that notice and thought maybe the bandwidth got exhausted by something new -> but is even worse! If people keep doing this garbage their going to ruin another good site for everyone, forever!

Bummer! If you take a look at the attached URL and scroll down the page, you will see that the username of the person who published the password is

uucww@163.com

Mabye we should all email the person to thank them for the site closure.

Usually I would be against a mass e-mail against a single person. However, in this case, I'm not. Bat Labs went to FREE member ship because of abuse of the site. If this sort of thing continues, we'll lose the resource completely. I think it's a good idea to let people know that this is not socially acceptable behavior in our community.

There I was, thinking I still need to do my 'one good deed for the year'. So I removed the link to the poor sod who published the password from BatLabs comment.

And then somebody else posts the bloddy thing.

I don't remember my password and can't seem to sign up for a new one (get an error message) or have it emailed to me (no such feature). Any suggestions?

Try a different email address. This email address has to work only one time (when you get the email from BatLabs) afterward you can scrap it. Freemailers and sites like Spam Motel are good for this. ;)

Sign-ups are down right now, too. I hope this doesn't mean he's taking the site offline permanently. That would be a real shame.

Maybe it's just me, but why the F*ck would anyone need to post a password to a free site????? signing up and getting the files was free for Pete's sake.

Exotica, If BAT puts the site back up, email him and let him know you lost your password. I did, and he deleted my email address so I could re-register.
