The Holes can be fixed by going back into RDS and selecting the mesh with the holes and then do a Polymesh/Reverse Normals inside the Mesh Form Modeler. That should fix the holes. So when you bring her into Poser you are importing the Heirarchy file? Make sure when you Export her from RDS as OBJ that you tell RDS to Use Materials or UV Mapping in the Export options. This will add usemtl statements to your OBJ file. You should then be able to assign color to each part. You can also go in and edit the OBJ file buy hand. Rather than have seperate usemtl lines with differant names for say the chest upper arm forearm etc....You can edit the OBJ with Notepad or something (after you Export from RDS with the Export Materials or UV Mapping) and change all those usemtl lines in the OBJ to say Skin. Then in Poser when you go select the body part rather than having to set flesh for 15-40 individual parts you now have Skin. Select that give it a color and each part that has a usemtl line of Skin will take that color... Make sense? If not let me know I'll try another approach. Clint

Help! After several attempts, I THINK I have almost succeeded in combining 2 Poser figures in RDD 5.5. (Essentially I wanted to swap the head on Hokusai's Biz Woman #4 for the one on Biz Woman #3, since the face morphs do not work on the former, due to the "wrong number of vertices.") ANYWAYI did the "head swap," exported the .obj file, did the Runtime routine She comes up alright, but is completely green -- although the "render options" lists all her parts, and I can pose and morph her, I can't seem to apply colour, and she has a couple of gaping holes in her chest. What have I missed? kayma@iname.com
