Hey!...tried importing a Poser figure into Bryce without any hassles...However, in Poser I had saved my figure as wireframe but when i imported it into Bryce I was asked to locate the texture and only then could I import...For my purpose I need my figure as is in it's wireframe form...How can i do thatt? Any help would be appreciated!

You should get an error message in Bryce after trying to import the Poser object (.obj), asking for a .tiff file,Then Bryce might even crash! if so, just make a text file with the object.tiff in the same location/directory as your poser .obj file, then it should fire right up. The txt file can be trashed later.

Do atleast one thing a day that scares the hell outta ya!!

Hmmmm....usually if Bryce asks me to find the texture file and I don't want it or don't feel like finding it I just cancel the request and Bryce continues loading. I've never had any problems.

Ditto what Aldaron says.

Yes, Erlik posted a nice example of a method to make it look like wireframe. You have to understand though that you did NOT and cannot export from poser as 'wireframe'. Wireframe in Poser is just a display mode.

Good example Erlik! I think this was covered in the attached thread too. On can also find the texture template files from the poser figure and tweak them in a photoeditor and then re-apply as an image texture in bryce. This can bypass the UVMapper stage.

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!
