Well, I played with his eyebrow, played with his eyes, tweaked his nose.. I also changed the hair.. still not happy with it, but it's much better than the other one (not nearly as distracting), and it'll do till I find what I want.. If anyone knows of a good male hairstyle (transmapped, preferably), please let me know, because I'm kinda desperate. Once again, opinions are appreciated, wanted, and asked for. They will be demanded at gunpoint ("Yes, it's lovely, sir. Please don't kill me.") and solicited through megabytes of spam. Umm.. yeah. Thanks for the input, as always. I don't know what I'd do without everyone here. Rosh

Well, the texture is looking good but every time I look at it all I can think of is he's scared to death of something. Is that intentional?? Diane B

It's not intentional, but I have no idea exactly how to fix that. Anybody know how that might be fixed? Thanks, Rosh

I think the expression picnic means has something to do with his eyebrows, actually it looks to me as if he's worried so try rasing the eyebrows just a tad and adjusting them so the low point is not the outer part but the inner. Other than that he looks great.

Looks great. but I agree he looks like he is looking for the school bully:)maybee try to arch the eyebrows or mess with worry dials? maybe the mouth too? I'm not sure what you going for. but he looks great nonetheless. as for the hair... I've said it before , it must be sexist but I think about 90% of stuff out there for poser is for the fems. Not that Im complaining but I would be nice to have some more trans maped hair to use:) The one you used before is one of like two that I have seen. Maybee you can make your own(easier said than done:). I'm tring to make one for Drizzt (he' still not quite done ) but it is harder than it looks, and it doesnt look very easy:0)

Yes, Kalypso's right. The eyebrows being drawn toward the middle give that feeling. Also, his nostrils are flared quite a bit and with his eyes looking down and toward the middle, it appears he's looking at something fairly scary. If you raise the eyebrows and do as Kalypso says, I think that will take care of it for the most part (and maybe change his eye directions). The texture itself is looking great. Diane B

when you said vincent, i thought of the vincent from "beauty and the beast" tv show that used to be on.

Wow, thanks for everyone's input. I'll get started playing with those eyebrows. Deal, I hear you... I tried transmapping hair once, and it was an utter disaster. Where did you find the other one? I might be able to use it. =) Thanks again, Rosh

Hi, great to see another male character out here. If here were my character, I would definately pull back those eyes some along the z-axis. I hate, hate, hate all that space between the nose and the lip, so I would use trav's nose long "y-axis" morph. You may also try closing his eyes slightly. If done just so, it gives a more normalized, less frightened look. Play with it and see what you can come up with. Finally, I agree with the eyebrows. I spend hours on eyebrows! Bring 'em down and arch 'em around. I have an arched eyebrow morph that I'm going to post someday soon, so that might come in handy. I would also suggest experimenting with Bushi's real eyes. Sometimes they are a pain when they slip out of alignment, but it does wonders for the character to see a spark of reflection off of their eyes. Makes 'em almost real. I'm working on transmapped hair for male hair 5, but what I have so far is an utter embarassment. :) I usually use five and smudge it up a lot in Photoshop. Hope this helps, Lynda

Check my post above about the eyebrows... I don't really like Bushi's eyes.. they're a pain to use.. plus, the end scene won't be a closeup enough to really see them. Thanks for the ideas, I'll see what I can do with him once I get that texture problem settled.. Rosh

The eyeballs need to be darkened a bit to make him look less scared - the extreme white color is what makes him look terrified (I'd suggest using a very light blue or gray for the main color and the other for the highlight). Now he looks more like a normal man and less like a cro-magnon; he doesn't need the facial hair. Definite progress! :-)
