Thanks guys, I agree about the texture, I tried many trying to get it so the Giant was'nt so obvious so I had to modify it to blend in with the background and then He got lost altogether So thats why I tried the lighthouse beam trick to give him some outline with trying to keep the overall terrain environment texture....basically the same. It was tough (for me) to get that I need to try some other things I suppose. The sky you may have notice is a tweaked recycle of my "Spirit of the radio" post minus the stars although spirit was majorly modified those clouds reside on my harddrive as a file all by itself called "Clouds" ...Duh anyway I just merge that document into the current scene and tweak to fit. I can tell you how I did it Bone it's justa bunch of spheres really. FT The stars are awesome arent they? I forget where I got it but it's an obp. I downloded called "Accurate starfield " it was made by a guy from NASA ans is supposedly accurate. I havnt studied it that far ...but It does make for an awesome starfield. it's just a huge Sphere. Thats a hard to find obp.and if you guys want it I can send it to you. ..the cloud file too if you want. The boats were tougher than I thought ..I wanted them to be departing the harbor but positioned so they were caught in the reflection of the light beams. Thanks for the reply guys Hawkfyr
