I was fascinated by the HDRI ( renderupgrade.pze at free stuff section), you can rotate the view and the environment lloks like 360 parorama, I think it is a break through for rendering hi quality image right in Poser 4/5, although the parorama can't be rendered as backdrop, still the GI lighting is very convincing and i never saw one in poser before. Being a renderholic for HDRI rendering in max and C4D, I think I don't have to transfer poser scene to these renderers as the saved light(lt2) is amazing for this purpose already. thanks fanta-city. :)

typo "pz3", and the images can be rendered as backdrop in p4.

no thanks poserpro. I enjoy beautifull renderers made by highspec software and thought Poser could technically do the same thing. glad you like it man!

indeed, it is a very cool lighting setting, how did you make that panorama thingy, it makes the 3d view looks more real.

hehe, that's my secret....I didn't make it myself. I got it from debevec.org. I am curretnly making some panoramas myself with a tripod, camera and complicated software noone understands except for it's creator. I placed the lights carefully, made the background object one-sided blablabla. I am planning on putting a marketplace item on renderosity as soon as the other 15 or so lightsets are done. Try before you buy.

lightprobe, I saw national geographics has a special program featuring Paul's HDRI and the head demo...very cool, you cna get the demo film at his site too. so the background obj is like sky object ( very big ) to put the light source photo, actually it is all about faking HDRI. wish you a success. And I don't mind if you give me one more sample :P
