Subject: Walk Designer Has Walked Out On Me! What now?

moushie ( ) posted Sun, 08 December 2002 at 2:28 PM ยท edited Fri, 22 November 2024 at 5:12 PM

Suddenly, my Walk Designer has quit. When I try opening it a message says, Do you wish to add frames to your scene to import the complete animation? If I click No, it recycles. If I click Yes, it hangs up. The question is irrelevant anyway. This is a first, but I recently downloaded some proprietary Walks which may have erased certain files. Assuming I need to re-install Poser files, which ones are they? (I dont want to re-install the whole application if I can avoid it.) Or is there a simpler solution?

Hi, having managed to stop the Walk designer working myself, I found the files relevant were the "walk presets" folder in the "poses" folder, and the lo-res figures in the "characters" (aka figures) folder. Hope this helps Mark

Many thanks. There's something odd here. Poser 4 Lo figures were in my Characters folder, but Walk Presets were missing from Poses. I installed Poser 4 on a separate disk but there is no Walk Presets folder under Poses.
