Heh. Thought that subject line woudl get your attention. I started playing around with building custom facial MTs for Vicki in 3DSMax, after taking profile, 3/4, and frontal pics of my wife, Audrey's face, to see what I could do. Here's the result...

Of course, this would not be ready for release yet by any means. The texture is low-res, my wife has a lot more ink and bits of metal in her. Her ears aren't floppy -- there are plugs in those lobes. Plus she has a vertical labrette, a bridge, and a monroe piercing. I'd of course make all the jewelry for these. Was a bit frustrating that I had to actually change the x-trans of the eyes because of the shape of her face. I need to work out a better pair of boobs for her, too. This has the default Breast 8 at 2-something. It's almost the right size. My wife was graced by the Gods with a very large pair of pack-pain inducers that prevent her from being able to find brassieres anywhere outside of Manhattan and Hollywood. Her RL nipples are much less dangerous-looking even when cold, and slightly less upturned. She has no problem with this, as long as I leave certain vertical patterns out of the abdominal bump-map (else she'll kill me). She does have hair, but I was at the time just doing this to prove to her that I could (she's rather surprised, actually). The hair would be a combed-back red mohawk with the back pulled into pigtails.

oh I think you absolutely should sell your wife (brilliant subject line btw). The fact that there would be plugs for the ears is brilliant. Victoria has always been missing a properly mod-ed character. Plus if you don't mind me saying from the image, your wife is absolutely adorable and her vertical labret is making me jones to get my lip re-peirced.

With such a lovely wife.. I'm afraid the temptation to sell her is inevitable! :) Rena

Only one drawback with the ear plugs -- I think can only do solid metal ones (which won't be accurate for the right ear, which has a tunnel IRL). An MT can certainly mush a mesh about, but it can't punch a hole in it. Unless -- maybe, just maybe, I can do something where I seriously reform it so that I take a bit of the back of the lobe, push it in and spread it out, then pull the edges back together overlapping and hiding the seam as much as possible. Maybe. If that works, there won't be any partial morphs, it'll be 1 or zero, on or off, because a partial would be a really odd an dgravity-defying open shape.

Keep the wife (she's beuatiful), but definitly sell the texture and morphs. She's real, and she's gorgeous. Good job! Do the ear holes with a transmap on the head texture. The ear jewelery will hide any problems. I think that'd work. I think I'll try it tonight and see...

i agree with pdx, use trans maps for it, then definately sell her!!!also agree, brilliant tagline!!
