Product Notes
~*~ Tomb Raider catacomb ~*~ Underground building complex for Poser. This set consists of multiple props parented to a null figure; There are several lights parented to the various sections of the building complex. The doors open by selecting them and adjusting Yrot. To conserve system resources, you can simply delete any sections of the catacomb which you don't need for your project. Render with "use displacement maps" engaged and "minimum displacement bound" set to 1. If you have Poser 8 or Poser Pro 2010 (or later), turn the three default scene lights down to about 8%, and render with IDL (indirect lighting) engaged. With the lights this low, the "smooth shaded" preview mode will probably be too dark for you to place your doll(s); Find the billiard ball icons on the Poser interface and click on them to find the one which sets the preview to "lit wireframe" to do your scene setup. In order to get a shot framed while keeping the camera within the walls, look in the camera's parameters for "focal length" and adjust it down to 21 or 17, for example, as needed. There *is* an exterior for the above-ground top of the round tower, along with a cut-to-fit grass plane, but it loads with the visibility unchecked to facilitate preview vision of the rest of the model. The geometries are remotely referenced OBJs to facilitate use in other studios. I will probably make a ready to use Vue .vob as I get time. To keep the Poser ground plane under the model, set the ground plane's scale to 1500% and slide it over (dolly X) 27. copyright seachnasaigh March 2011.
