"Perspective Control for DAZ Studio" enables you to change the angle of view and the camera position simultaneously whilst maintaining the central composition and focal point. This means you can compose a picture with the main subject in the frame as you want it, and then experiment with the perspective to get a more dynamic or interesting image.
This effect, as a moving image, was originally seen in Alfred Hitchcock's 1958 film "Vertigo" where the camera lens zoomed in as the dolly moved back, and is known as a "dolly zoom".
Instructions for use:
Select a loaded camera from the drop-down list in the dialog box, and move the slider to adjust the Focal Length, Focal Distance and camera position simultaneously. There are also a series of radio buttons to set the focal length to exactly 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 65mm, 85mm or 135mm.
A toolbar option is available to enable you to use the Perspective Control at any time without having to navigate to its Library folder.
DAZ Studio only.
