I posted freebies through the winter, hope you liked them, I also attempted using DazStudio. Big thanks to everyone who helped me to understand how it works. I gave up, not because I found a lot of problems, I enjoyed using it. But since I'd used Poser for almost twenty years I found I couldn't get my work flow going. I'm too used to using Python scripts. Think I'll get a dinosaur as my avatar. So I guess that's all folks until next winter!

This is a simple prop 'button badge' included is a badge that can be parented to a hat with a simple logo.
Also is a set of background textures and instructions of how to make your own logo and texture.
There is an .obj file with a UV map, you can reshape it, position it on a lapel.. ..whatever..., and make a new
prop that will utilise the badge logos you make using the template. It has 3 texture zones.
In the promo, I used Billy-T's Hotty Girl hat. You could use almost any hat you have.
The zip file contains a Runtime folder with the badge and a texture as a prop. The 'Tools for round badge'
folder contains some textures, the obj file, the UV file and simple instructions.
To make a new logo, you might want to use a paint program that works images in layers.
I made everything in Paintshop Pro 8 and Poser 6

For any novice trying to create textures there are two programs I use. Adobe CS2, which is free to download from Techspot.com. If you want a program with A LOT of helpful info and videos that come free with the prog you can get Paintshop Pro 8 from Ebay or Amazon starting at around $30. The learning curve for Paintshop Pro is very easy, it will also open some older versions of Adobe brushes. It will also open Adobe .8B extension plug-ins. It has it's own library of textures/patterns and pre-made vector shapes. But you could just make your logo for the badge in MS paint if you are using windows. The badge is an exercise in how to use a texture on a UV map, and how to parent a prop. I hope it's fun too!
