Description
Also known as "The devil's been licking my ice cream"... ;) It's been hotter than the hubs of Hades here in Southern Ontario for the past week or so... and apparently it's going to stay this way for awhile yet. Six months and 100 degrees ago we were complaining about the incredibly cold days. It's rather wild that the temperature can swing 100 degrees in either direction ... kinda like one of those midway rides with a sign posted out front saying, "No one under the influence of less than three Gravol tablets can expect to survive this G-force extravaganza with any hope of decorum." lol!
Anyway... I hope you're all staying cool (or warm depending on your geographic locale) and that fresh tomatoes will soon be more than just a dream. ;) UF3 with border and sig in PSP. Thanks so very much to all of you for the awesome feedback on Dragon Scroll... and thank you for popping in to view this one! Hugs! Helen :)

very lovely Helen and you chose an excellent gradient. I did not know you lived in Ontario. I love Toronto and the area. I went to Sudbury and it was cold/raining as the dickens and went back to Toronto and it was 80 and sunny

This is a great fractal. Very nice ! I like the second name best !! I am surprised that it has been hot in Ontario. Isnt that unusual ? It is so far north. I have been to Ontario in the winter ( Toronto ) and it was verrrrrrrrry cold !

real cool and lovely. I had days like this

Wow, I haven't heard that "hubs" expression since I lived in the Finger Lakes of NY a couple of decades ago! I hate the hot weather, how I survived 15 years of living in Florida is beyond me. Beautiful depth and forms here, I love the way is softens into the background and is so sharp and clear in the fore. Wonderfully expressive and the lighting is just perfect!

Another fine one. I think you need to start playing with a little texture. :)

A striking image that catches the eye. I also live in Southern Ontario and can't wait for this #$%*! heat wave to be over.

You've "rolled them out" beautifully and with such style and elegance! Gorgeous colors and incredible detail. Excellent work, Helen.

This is one of the most beautiful fractals I've seen in any fractal gallery. Has sort of a Christmasy feel to it. I love the way it shimmers.

expert technique and a beautiful image..

Your incredible use of form and colour to recite to us your feelings of theme here blows me away. I'm sensing the heat and winds swirling the grasses as I walk along. I'm filling my pockets with these beauties. This way I always have a fresh supply to enjoy and not run out in future.

Sheeesh, I never realized it actually got Hot in Canada!! Shows how much I know, eh? Anyway, this image is wonderful and so unique. The palette, lighting and shading all serve to draw the viewer deep inside the piece, and holds the eyes upon it, dreaming! Excellent work.

Speaking of fresh tomatoes, this new image is Fractal Salad. Christmasy, yes, but fresh!

You've coloured and 'shaped' this structure really well. Very nice! - I've just read Keith's comment about texture. He may be right, but not on this image I think: the smoothness is part of its appeal.
