Description

I met with Anna and had coffee this morning. It was good to see her, to talk, to be close again. She shared with me some words of encouragement and got pissed at me - *g* she's not afraid to say what's on her mind... So what is harder? To admit you need help, or to accept the help offered? -y

Well, you know Yo... she's right ;-) There's nothing wrong with needing help with anything, despite what society may have us believe; and certainly nothing wrong with accepting help when it's offered. You don't have to feel that either is hard, not when it's Anna who probably knows you better than anyone, doesn't judge you and doesn't expect anything that isn't you. She's there for you and you know you can trust her... whereas if you close off from literally everyone, you can only sink deeper. Good work again, like your layout :-)

I totally agree with Jim! I though know how hard it's ask for help, or even accept it. It's a thing we should learn. A true friend is the most valuable treasure in the world. - great picture with some very moving lines of words. :-)

When all you have ever known is pain, what can you possibly know about "Normal?". Changing is the hardest thing to do, even if it is for the good. I had a lot of rage and anger from my childhood and have spent years trying to shed it. But it takes great effort, and it NEVER stops... Every day the challenge is there again....and it is SO EASY to slip back into old patterns, as hateful and wretched as they are, because in a strange and twisted way, they are comfortable and familiar....and that is what makes them such a horrible trap.
